The step-by-step guide made it easy for my 11-year-old to build the glider model, and the rubber-band launcher really shows how thrust works. We've already rebuilt it twice to test different wing angles.

My 10-year-old spent a solid two hours building the crane and wouldn't stop until the pulley actually lifted a small load. The step-by-step instructions for each of the 10 models are clear enough that he barely needed my help. Good pick for a kid who likes figuring out how things move.

The windmill model actually spins when you crank the handle, which my son thought was the coolest thing. Took him about an hour to assemble with the instructions, and he's already asking to try the elevator next.
